About the Carpentaria Shire

Carpentaria Shire is located in North Western Queensland, in the Gulf of Carpentaria. The Shire covers an area of over 64,000 square kilometres and contains the towns of Normanton and Karumba.

About the Opportunity

The Karumba Town Crew Foreman is responsible for the effective management and supervision of Karumba township and town crew labourers. The position has responsibility for coordinating and overseeing municipal operations, including but not limited to town streets, parks and gardens, and waste collection and management services.

You will need, or have the willingness to acquire:

• Current HR Drivers License
• Construction Industry Safety Induction White/Blue card
• Multiple Plant Operator Tickets
• Supervisory and planning skills
• Administrative skills including computer literacy
