We are seeking a Casual Youth Services Officer to join our team. The purpose of the Youth Project Officer (Carpentaria Youth Strategy) is to work with the Community Service Team and the Carpentaria community to deliver the Carpentaria Youth Strategy. Additionally, you will assist in developing and managing programs at the Shire's sport centers, organising activities at these centres, supporting various community and council projects, and contributing to council events as needed.

Key Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Experience working with young people, youth services, or other related agencies.
• Current C class manual driver’s license.
• Current full first aid certificate or the ability to obtain one.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, to monitor and respond to emails.
• Proficiency in using the internet and search engines.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and openness to new ideas.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with community members and visitors.
