Casual Assistant Educator

Carpentaria Shire Council is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and caring person to join our friendly and supportive team at the Normanton Child Care Centre. 

It is a requirement for you to have:

  • A Working with Children Blue Card, or the ability to obtain one; 
  • Apply First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification, or the ability to obtain;and 
  • The ability to obtain a Certificate III in Children's Services.

It is essential successful applicants (who are unqualified) commence study towards a Certificate III in Children's Services after a 3 month qualifying period in the position. The Certificate III in Children's Services qualification is fully funded and well supported by Council.
